Ormax Heartbeats (OHB) is our weekly popularity track for Hindi songs. It is India's only music charts report based on audience research. Since 2010, producers & music labels have used OHB to gauge audience response to new song launches. OHB reports the top songs of the week every Wednesday, based on two parameters: Recall and Likeability. For Recall, audiences are asked to name upto four songs that are currently on their mind, and for each of these, likeability is measured on a 0-100 scale. Recall and Likeability are combined to report a composite metric, called the OHB Score. OHB research is conducted among Hindi film audiences, and hence, is not reflective of the popularity of music in other Indian languages.

Based on Gross (cumulative) OHB Score across the year, we create year-end lists of top Hindi songs and soundtracks. For songs still not on the charts, their Gross OHB Score is estimated based on their trajectory in recent weeks, and comparison to similar songs in the past.

The graphic below lists the top 20 Hindi film songs of 2025, based on their Gross Ormax Heartbeats Score.

Songs from Saiyaara and Dhurandhar dominate, taking four spots each in the Top 20 list. As a result, the soundtracks of these two films also take the top 2 positions in the list of the most popular Hindi film soundtracks of 2025.
